NEW Magic City Art Connection logo design
This past summer, Magic City Art Connection looked to longtime supporter, festival collaborator, art collector, and graphic designer, Scott Miller of Miller Communications, to create a fusion logo for a hybrid festival weekend last November featuring both Magic City Art Connection (MCAC) and Moss Rock Festival (MRF) side by side. We called it Moss Magic for short. The M design was born out of that moment!
It was so well-received that it naturally fed into ongoing discussions about exploring a fresh, new brand identity for Magic City Art Connection, whose Linn Park-inspired square, color quadrant logo was created in 2002, almost 20 years ago. Since the M in the logo was partly representative of Magic City Art Connection already, we decided to look at this new impactful design for the spring festival’s rebranding.
We love the contemporary feel of Miller’s design, his use of bold and vibrant color, and the striking presence of the M. And MCAC looks forward to this new logo taking the Festival into its next 20 years in Birmingham.
