Caroline Taylor
Caroline Taylor is an independent curator and private art advisor based in New York and Alabama. Specializing in contemporary art, Caroline has organized exhibitions internationally. Most recently, 60 Years of Wolgang Klaehn, at the German Consulate, New York City (March 4-31, 2014) and delusion/illusion, Galleri Haaken, Oslo (April 30 – May 30, 2014). Caroline also manages “Triumph & Disaster” – a contemporary art project space based in Montgomery, Alabama that brings international exhibitions to the South.
Previously, Caroline spent four years at Deutsche Bank as a Curatorial Associate. Deutsche Bank holds the largest corporate art collection in the world with focus on emerging and mid-career artists. Caroline has additional experience at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Phillips Auction House, and the Felix Gonzalez-Torres Foundation. She holds a BFA in Painting and Art History from Pratt Institute.
