FAB 40th Website Redesign by kinetic
Magic City Art Connection is celebrating a BIG milestone in 2023, its FAB 40th year. As part of this momentous anniversary, our website sponsor Kinetic Communications is giving MCAC’s website a redesigned new look.

The original MCAC website by Kinetic Communications launched at the 2013 Festival, and has served as a great connection point between the Festival and its patrons, collectors, and supporters for the last 10 years. In 2020, another design partner, Miller Communications, Inc., reimagined MCAC’s logo, which provided momentum for this eventual and exciting update to the Festival’s online identity.
We’re loving the new features and updates by Kinetic’s team encompassing the Artist previews and profile pages, new image galleries, tethers to social media and blogging content, plus streamlined navigation and interfaces. We can’t wait for you to see it and explore!
We asked Jay Brandrup, founder and principal of Kinetic Communications, a few questions about their support of Magic City Art Connection and Corks & Chefs, plus this FAB 40th website project.
Kinetic has been the steward of Festival’s online identity for the last 10 years. How has the creative vision, energy and legacy of Magic City Art Connection sustained your enthusiasm and support of this spring arts tradition in Birmingham?
Does building an art festival website give your team any additional creative outlet?
Kinetic is one of the longtime sponsors of Corks & Chefs: A Taste of Birmingham @ Magic City Art Connection. What do you love about this delicious signature event celebrating its 26th year in 2023?
We can’t thank Kinetic enough for making this website redesign a reality for our 40th year. They are the best, and it’s been such a pleasure to work with their talented crew over the years and in 2023 to unveil the next version of MCAC’s digital face.
