About Art Bash
Magic City Art Connection’s Winter Benefit, Art Bash, is known for reinventing Birmingham spaces into fun, one-night-only party experiences and artful environments. Find art, plus eat, drink, pose, dance, and mingle as we build excitement and support for the contemporary art festival and the Imagination Festival for kids, which provides free art workshops for thousands of city & county elementary students and families over 3 days, happening April 24-26 in downtown’s Linn Park.

For Art Bash’s 2020 collaboration with award winning photographer, Liesa Cole of Studio GoodLight, pose on our Breakthrough Set inspired by this extra day that comes only once every 4 years and urges us all to take a leap, do something meaningful, extra, or out of the ordinary.
Over the last 11 years, Magic City Art Connection’s partnership with this amazing Birmingham creative has produced a series of amazing guest portraits. They are highly coveted and fun to watch as Liesa works her magic with each muse.
Read about Liesa’s accolades from being chosen as 2014 ADDY’s Photographer of the Year to her 1st Prize at the Photography Masters Conference in Grado, Italy to photographing the Dalai Lama during his most recent trip to Birmingham. She’s major!

Parking Lot @ Sloss Docks
Enter Sloss Dock parking lot from 1st Avenue North. NOTE: You can also access parking by way of Back Forty’s north lot off of 32nd Street South, then following it around the back side of brewery which faces 1st Avenue North. Ride Share – Due to limited parking in the Sloss Docks lot (100 spaces available), we highly recommend that guests utilize your favorite ride sharing service to get to Art Bash, if possible. Who doesn’t like door to door service?!
Security
Security is in place for the fundraiser party.
Benefiting
Bash profits support an art-trip for Birmingham 3rd- 4th graders Friday, among the hundreds of children coming to the 3-day Festival. All kids up to 15 enjoy Imagination Festival art workshops and experiences free of charge. Help support a memorable arts day for all of our kids over April 24-26 at the 37th annual contemporary art festival. Magic City Art Connection is a 501c3 non-profit festival and sole recipient of all funds received through grants, donations, fees, ticket revenues and in-kind support.
