Celeste Amparo Pfau announced as MCAC’s 2017 Emerging Artist Award Recipient & Poster Artist

It is our pleasure to announce that Birmingham’s Celeste Amparo Pfau has been selected as the 24th recipient of Magic City Art Connection’s (#MagicCityArt) Emerging Artist Award. The contemporary art festival hands out this honor annually to a talented Birmingham artist. The award was established to spotlight, support and present new artists of great artistic potential and integrity to the Festivals sponsors, patrons and public. In addition to being prominently featured on the Fountain Walk at the 35th annual contemporary art festival, Celeste’s work will be showcased on the 2017 Festival Poster and marketing campaign. For more will receive a $350 cash award, tickets to some of MCAC’s big events like Art Bash (Feb 25th) and Corks & Chefs, and will be recognized at MCAC’s Friday Night Applause Awards dinner.
