I was born in 1968 in Sao Paulo State (Brazil), graduated in History from Campinas
State University (UNICAMP) in 1992.

Worked as History teacher from 8 th grades to High school for 23 years and also became
a History teaching coordinator at Rio Branco School (Rotary Club Sao Paulo) in 2010
role that I hold until the end of 2015, when I moved to the US.
I lived in Milledgeville, GA, from 2016 till 2021 and now I live part time in Sylacauga, AL,
part time still in Georgia.

Started my pottery studies in 2003 as a hobby with one of the most prestigious artists,
Hideko Honma, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Hideko Honma is a Japanese/Brazilian pottery
artist known for her unique work. She develops special pottery pieces for restaurants
and her works are always shown in culinary and decoration magazines. With her I could
learn about Japanese discipline and technique.

During the time I was studying at Hideko Honma’s Studio I attended some pottery
workshops and had my works shown and sold in her studio events.

After moving to the US in 2016 I attended Kathy Murphy’s Studio in Macon (Macon Mud
Pottery) until I was able to start my own in-home studio in 2019, The Bluebird Pottery, to
expand possibilities in form and glazing.  Following the studio opening I had my
individual Art Show/sale at Eclectic store, in downtown Milledgeville. I’ve also
participated in Fired Works and Fire & Ice shows in Macon, OCAF Holliday Market in
Watkinsville, Deep Roots Festival in Milledgeville, Christmas Markets in Milledgeville.
