Artist Bio
Peggy Bilbro lives in Huntsville Alabama, but she travels extensively having explored Europe and Asia as well as our own United States, and finding intriguing views wherever she happens to be. Many of her photos reflect her fascination with Paris, the city of light, offering a new perspective around every corner. Her work is primarily abstract architectural photography. Seldom does she show an entire building, but rather trains her lens on the angles, curves and shadows of pillars, overhanging eaves, cobblestones or paint-peeling doors. Peggy is particularly drawn to reflections, finding in them a dialogue between light and dark, man and environment. Her photographs, ranging from intimate small prints to large format photos, are printed on metal, canvas and photographic paper
