Artist Bio
Michael Bastian is a master carpenter building decks and house additions by day and an artist by night. His sculptures are rough and powerful yet classically simple. The dominant aspect of his work is its straightforward form, an aspect that makes these pieces very appealing to the viewer. Michael creates objects with volume and openness using casted aluminum, tin, copper, wood, and almost any other material he can find.
