Born and raised in Colombia, I always had a passion for wood and hand tools. I started as a young adult nurturing my talent and learning the art of wood sculpture by turning and carving. I shared the “fruits of my labor” and talent with my family and before long, demand demonstrated the sheer value of my art. Each hand crafted fruit is unique.
After I moved to Miami in 2003, my art became well known within the local art scene. Since 2006 I have been participating in some of the most renowned juried art shows across the country like the Coconut Grove Arts Festival in Miami, Fl., La Quinta Arts Festival in Palm Springs, CA, the Columbus Art Festival in Columbus, OH, and the Atlanta Dogwood Art Festival in Atlanta, GA.
