Artist Bio
Laura Nigg is a local Birmingham artist. She paints with the goal of creating an illusion of depth in her paintings. She works in oil on canvas and panels. She paints from life with the subject of the painting in front of her. A lot of her paintings are of cut pieces of fruit. The colors and shapes give visual interest translated into paint in her brightly colored paintings.
