Jon Osborne is a Contemporary artist residing in Birmingham, Alabama. Osborne’s work is informed by close observation of his own life journey and the journeys of others, often resulting in the revelation of the beauty of human connectedness. Personal expression with no boundaries and an appetite for spontaneity drive him to create.
Jon is a self-taught artist who employs what has been called a unique approach to illustrating pure emotion and sense perception. Each work is both a self-portrait and a representation of being(s) from a diverse culture and period, exploring the depths of multicultural acceptance. Osborne aspires to use his art to bring awareness to the beauty of overcoming adversity – through creative freedom.
