My work is inspired by both the chaos of home life and a longing for serenity. Through my art, I am able to explore our connection to Home, and the relationship between what we are willing to show and what we work so hard to keep hidden. My paintings contain bold/graphic elements that are tempered by delicate lines and transparent colors. This balance is a visual echo of the quiet moments carved out within the frenzy of daily life. I paint on cradled wood panels with acrylic paint & collage elements.
