About
Chris has been creating his metalwork and selling it at juried Fine art and craft shows since 1998. He has no assistants and absolutely never uses any type of mass production machinery. Chris designs, then draws each piece out on a sheet of stainless steel. Then he cuts every element of negative space out with a hand held electric torch, thus leaving the viewer with the musicality of shapes dancing on a plane of two dimensional steel. He then welds on ball bearings, masonry nails and metal rod. Gold, and or copper leaf and enamel paint is applied to certain areas. Chris has earned many awards throughout the years and has work in both corporate and residential collections too numerous to list.
