Artist Statement
Enamel is magic: comprise of all of the earth’s element and silica, when applied to pure metals and intense heat, you have the color that forms my artwork. Since enamels have been around since 1500 B.C., they are permanent; I am enchanted by the knowledge that long after I am dust, my work will still be a reminder of how a woman lived and viewed her world in the 21st Century.
