Artist Statement
In college I studied Religious Literature and along the way I was given a Canon AE-1 camera to play with. I was so inspired by the camera that I went back to college and received my degree in Fine Art Photography and then decades later I got the opportunity to go to Seminary and finish up my Rabbinic training.
Yes, you can call me Rabbi Barry.
I adore a good cup of coffee, the Dave Matthews Band, the Los Angeles Dodgers and my clients.
I spent five years documenting the NASCAR circuit for magazine and book projects. I’ve done numerous art projects and my photography has won international awards as well as being exhibited in galleries New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Pensacola, Las Vegas and Birmingham.
A wise and learned man once told me – “Life is too serious to be taken seriously”.
